A weekend in Lancaster County Pennsylvania
A favorite vacation for everyone in our family is Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We enjoy the entire county, there is so much to do for the kids that they are never bored.

We enjoy staying at the Willow Valley Resort because they have an indoor kids pool area in case we have any bad weather on our trip. The resort is always clean and an added convenience is the delicious breakfast smorgasbord served at the resort - they even have a package to help save money for families.

If we visit in the Summer, the entire family enjoys Dutch Wonderland, an amusement and water park. On our most recent trip, we realized they had added several new water attractions; for older children one could also travel a short distance to Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. We often visit the Strasburg Railroad to enjoy a country ride to see the sites.

The local attractions are too numerous to mention: from local farm fresh produce stands to outdoor markets. Tours of local historic features, ... more
